Just have a slow down….

•February 18, 2010 • Leave a Comment

Sometimes we just don’t know what to do or how to deal with the outside world… but we continue struggling just without even thinking about what we’ll do or what’s the best way to deal ….

This ends up in a very tired and exhausted heart & mind which have been trying to deal with this and that and in many different ways just to please everyone around…but no one trying to please that heart or satisfy that mind…..

I’ve been wanting to write about what I feel these days, for a few days but didn’t know what to write and what exactly I’ll write about…but I just started writing…if you don’t understand what’s going on …it’s not your fault as it’s just some unorganized thoughts coming out of my head into words…so just never mind about it :)

If we stop for a while and think about our lives…..and how we can deal with all its aspects… just then we can decide how to deal with everything in it…..but the ability to slow down the pace of life and just start thinking is the important and difficult step sometimes….

Some people think all the time…and sometimes about everything in the same time…which makes them get confused after a while..Or wanting to stop thinking or maybe get rid of their head for a while :) …..and some other people don’t try to think at all…or just think when it is really required to think…and these people sometimes need to think and they just can’t cause they’re not used to it :)

So just have a slow down, or a pause in your life….just to have a closer look in everything in your life and how things should be….don’t let life just go fast and take you with it ….and enjoy your life always….

What Makes God Smile?

May the Lord Smile on You (Numbers 6:25)

يضيء الرب بوجهه عليك و يرحمك

Smile on me Your Servant; teach me the right way to live (Psalms 119:135)

أَضِئْ بِوَجْهِكَ عَلَى عَبْدِكَ، وَعَلِّمْنِي فَرَائِضَكَ

Know What Makes God Smile

1.God smiles when we love him supremely:

He says, “I don’t want your sacrifices(7′edma) I want your love; I don’t want your offerings(3ataya)-I want you to know me.”

Form a Fellow relationship (3laka sha7’seya) with Him.

God made you to love you, and he longs for you to love him back.

This is why learning to love God and be loved by him should be the greatest objective of your life.

“Love the Lord your God with

all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment.”

2. God smiles when we trust him completely

Have faith that he knows what is best for your life.

“He takes pleasure in those that honor Him; in those who trust in His constant love.”

Trusting is an act of worship.

“Without faith it is impossible to please God “

3. God smiles when we obey him wholeheartedly:

Do what God says without hesitation 7ata law 2l mawdoo3 mosh mokne3.

Do it without delay.

Obeying will teach u more about God.

Partial obedience is disobedience.

Obey gladly.

Maza torid ya rab an af3al.

4. God smiles when we praise and thank him continually:

If u thank God u become happy.

Express ur enjoyment of what has God done for u.

5. God smiles when we use our abilities.
